Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe Welfare and Development Society (Regd.)

When the founding father of Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe Welfare and Development Society (Regd.) began their philanthropic endeavor by commencing vocational skills from the slums in 1999, they could not have imagined that it would today become a preeminent civil society organization that serves so many welfare programmes in Delhi.
This Society was established on 6th November 1995 and was registered on 22 December 1995. The society is dedicated towards social welfare and encourages helpless and poor people of the society. The quality of social service and institution reflect our growth and progress. Our NGO is governed by volunteer committees of management drawn from the community of interest and from individuals with relevant management skills. We organize welfare programmes in a planned and coordinated manner for the welfare of the needy, neglected and weaker sections of the society. Welfare schemes and services for the various socially handicapped and vulnerable sections such as destitute, neglected children beggars, needy old and infirm persons etc. The work of the NGO mainly revolves around the implementations of the social legislation pertaining to the undertaking and implementing welfare measures and programmes with the collaboration of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment Govt. of India and Mission Convergence for care and welfare of women and children, physically handicapped and other weaker sections. Our NGO provides an extremely broad range of front line services.

Credibility, based on transparency, is the main strength of SC/ST Welfare and Development Society (Regd.) which has always been striving to practice the best norms in human relations and financial management.
I beseech for the continued support of all the members of this organization. Your feedback is most welcome.
